Member Support Annual training CME (Continuing Medical Education) credits
Each year the Society holds its Annual Meeting, alternating between the Eastern and Western parts of the state, in Philadephia and Pittsburgh. The meeting includes talks from among the best lecturers in the country, including not just professors but also practice leaders and radiologists with additional expertise in fields such as informatics, macroeconomics and psychology. In the past few years, topics have ranged from specific lectures on imaging of the Pediatric Spine to broader topics such as current macroeconomic trends related to radiology, recognition and treatment of physician burnout, critical MRI safety issues, and some novel uses of Artificial Intelligence in practice, beyond just radiologic diagnosis.
Continuing Medical Education credits are issued by the American College of Radiology and included as part of your membership to the Society.
